Maybe you’ve found yourself asking this question. For a lot of women, the transition towards menopause can be very confusing and uncertain. You know things are not right and you just don’t feel like you anymore, but you can’t explain why.
Every woman’s experience of perimenopause and menopause will be different as they experience these symptoms within their own unique life experiences. Confusion around menopause and negative perceptions of menopausal women, can often make it difficult to talk about our experiences, even with those we care about.
Counselling can provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your perimenopausal or postmenopausal experiences, and the impact these may be having on your relationships, self-confidence, self-esteem, sense of purpose and identity.
